Eddie Irvine continued to test for the 1997 season at Maranello (Italy). He drove a best time of 1:01.50 over 72 laps.

Both the Ferrari's will have the same setup as Michael Schumacher had the last two races. Irvine will also be using the 7speed gearbox.
