Eddie Irvine completed a series of tests at Monza yesterday on a F310 fitted with the new 7 speed Gearbox, in preperation for the 8th of September Italian Grand Prix. Irvine completed 58 laps managing a quickest lap of 1m 26.090s. Irvines previous best time at Monza was 1m 27.788s.

While Irvine tested at Monza, Nicola Larini was shaking down the two race cars to be used this weekend at Hungary, at the Ferrari testing circuit, Fiorano. Despite bad weather, no problems were reported with the cars.
