Ferrari Start Testing at Fiorano

Wednesday July 4th, 2001

The Ferrari team moved from Mugello to Fiorano on Wednesday, where Italian driver Luca Badoer continued working for the Championship leaders.

Badoer tested today at the wheel of the F2001, continuing with the development work of the electronic systems. The team's test driver completed 82 laps around Fiorano - 24 of them around the short version of the track - and set a best time of 59:891. He practiced twelve starts.

Badoer also shook down one of last year's F1-2000 in order to prepare it for the Goodwood Festival of Speed next Saturday. The Italian will continue testing at Fiorano on Thursday.
