Badoer Kicks Off Fiorano Test

Italian driver Luca Badoer kicked off on Tuesday Ferrari's preparations for the upcoming Italian Grand Prix at the Monza circuit.

While Brazilian Rubens Barrichello worked for the World Champions at the Mugello circuit, test driver Badoer worked at the Fiorano track, concentrating on electronics testing for the F2001.

The Italian completed 75 laps, eight of them around the short track, setting a best time of 1:00.371. Badoer also run with wet weather tyres, setting a fastest lap of 1:10.371.

The test driver will resume his work at Fiorano on Wednesday.
