Ferrari Wrap Up Testing at Fiorano

Saturday October 6th, 2001

Ferrari ran for the sixth and final day of testing today, at the team's Fiorano circuit.

Luca Badoer was the only driver today, with two cars at his disposal. The Italian continued with development work on prototype parts to be used on next year's car, as well as tyre testing. He covered a total of 117 laps (23 on the short course,) with a best time of 59.580.

"We have crammed in a lot in the past five days," said Badoer at the end of the day. "We worked very hard to get through a heavy schedule. I am very happy with the first impressions we have acquired. Driving round the Fiorano track at the same time as Michael? It was a really enjoyable experience."
