The Ferrari team carried out on Wednesday a short test session with Italian Luca Badoer driving the F2001 at the Fiorano circuit, only a day before the first practice session for this weekend's Monaco Grand Prix.
Badoer completed twelve laps, working on aerodynamic and electronics testing, also trying different set-ups for Monaco, setting a best lap of 1:00.385. Part of the test took place on an artificially wet track.
Badoer will be back at Fiorano on Friday in order to shake down the fourth F2001 chassis which will be at the team's disposal for the Monaco Grand Prix.
