World Champion Michael Schumacher was joined on Friday by Italian driver Luca Badoer at the Fiorano circuit, where the Ferrari team continued testing for the fourth consecutive day in preparation for next week's Monaco Grand Prix.
Schumacher, who also worked on Thursday, concentrated on developing the electronic systems of the F2001, trying different set-ups for the Montecarlo race as well as some Bridgestone tyre compounds.
The German driver completed a total of 111 laps with a best time of 59.835. Test driver Badoer, meanwhile, completed 37 laps with a best time of 1:00.236.
A heavy storm forced the Italian team to finish today's session earlier than expected, but both Schumacher and Badoer will resume their work on Saturday.
