Schumacher and Barrichello Join Fiorano Test

German Michael Schumacher and Brazilian Rubens Barrichello took over from Ferrari's test driver Luca Badoer on Thursday, to continue with the Italian team's preparations for the Monaco Grand Prix.

Both Schumacher and Barrichello worked at the Fiorano circuit, where they continued with the development of electronic solutions, with particular attention to traction control. Schumacher also carried out brake testing, while Barrichello worked on a tyre programme.

Schumacher completed a total of 65 laps with a best time of 59.478, while Barrichello completed 75, the quickest being a 59.940.

Schumacher will continue testing tomorrow alongside Luca Badoer.
