Only two days after regaining the lead in both the Drivers and Constructors Championship by taking a 1-2 victory at Indianapolis, the Ferrari team began their preparations for the Japanese Grand Prix on Tuesday.
While the racing team is still returning from he United States, the test team worked at the Fiorano track with Luca Badoer at the wheel.
The Italian driver tested new mechanical components for the F1-2000, completing a total of 84 laps, fifteen of them on the short track, with a best time of 1:01.350.
Badoer will continue working on Wednesday at Fiorano.
