Testing continued at Silverstone yesterday, with the McLaren drivers ending up fastest of the day again - test driver Olivier Panis again ahead of David Coulthard.
Benetton's Giancarlo Fisichella set the third fastest time of the day, after having failed to complete a lap the previous day. The Benetton team worked on analysing the aerodynamic package introduced in Austria, as well as evaluating steering parts for next year.
Sixth fastest time of the day was set by Jordan's Jarno Trulli, who ran a low downforce set-up on two cars to evaluate the new EJ10B in preparation for Hockenheim. Today, the testing of the new car will continue when it completes back-to-back runs.
CART driver Dario Franchitti completed his two days of testing with Jaguar, setting the ninth fastest time of the day, almost two seconds slower than Jaguar test driver Luciano Burti.
Testing continues at Silverstone today.
