Coulthard and Schumacher Join Mugello Test

McLaren and Ferrari continued their testing at Mugello yesterday, with Olivier Panis continuing to be the fastest driver at the track.

McLaren test driver Olivier Panis was joined by David Coulthard for McLaren's testing at the circuit. Panis remained the fastest driver, completing 105 laps with the fastest time of 1:26.269. Coulthard only completed 28 laps, recording the slowest best time of the day of 1:28.548.

Michael Schumacher joined Ferrari test driver Luca Badoer, both drivers working on set-up and tyre testing for the upcoming Austrian Grand Prix. Schumacher's fastest of his 98 laps was a 1:26.306, while Badoer's fastest of his 67 laps was a 1:27.518.
