McLaren and Ferrari Continue at Mugello

McLaren and Ferrari continued testing at Mugello yesterday.

McLaren test driver Olivier Panis remained the fastest driver of the test, setting the fastest time of 1:25.966 while completing 79 laps.

Luca Badoer continued testing for Ferrari, working on set up and tyre evaluation, as well as learning the track which is still fairly new to him. He completed 81 laps, with a fastest time of 1:27.014. "We got through all our scheduled programme for the day. Badoer worked on finding a good set up in race trim to suit his driving style on this his first drive on at Mugello," commented test team chief Luigi Mazzola.
