Bridgestone have called upon the FIA to rethink the new tyre regulations for next year. The FIA wants more grooves on the tyre to slow the cars down. Bridgestone however feels this just results in a lot more work and they even doubt that they can have the new tyres ready before the start of season.

Bridgestone argues that because Goodyear is gone they can just supply harder tyres and thus decreasing lap times.
