Jordan boss Eddie Jordan has met Nigel Mansell to discuss Mansell's possible return to Formula One next season next to Ralf Schumacher. Eddie Jordan offered Mansell a test drive and he accepted. He will be testing the Jordan-Peugeot on the Barcelona (Spain) track next week.

Jordan commented: "There's no commitment from either party beyond this test. Nigel is Britain's most successful Formula One driver of all time and it is an honour for everyone at Jordan Grand Prix to give him this run."

Mansell: "I'm delighted to have this opportunity to re-acquaint myself with a Formula One car."
