Frentzen had another day of testing on a sunny Estoril (Portugal) circuit today. The German drove a best time of 1m 21.40s over 60 laps. This shows that Frentzen still need to get to know the car because his fastest time is still over 1.1 seconds slower than the previous best of both Damon Hill and Jacques Villeneuve.

Rubens Barrichello (24) will get married with Silvana Giafone (21) in February 1997. They will at first be living in Monaco.
