The Williams team is guarantying that the last battle at Sazuka for the World Championship between Jacques Villeneuve and Damon Hill will be a fair one. The team will fly two T-cars to Japan in stead of one, this is going to cost the team 20.000 pounds sterling. This will remove all speculation about Williams deliberately letting Hill have technical problems so he will not finish the race and Villeneuve could take the title to ensure Williams has the numer one in 1997.
Jorg Muller expressed himself optimistic about his chances of taking the second seat at the Arrows-Yamaha team from Jos Verstappen to team-up with Damon Hill after the tests at Silverstone(England). It was already sure that the tests would decide which driver would get the job. It is a race between Verstappen, Muller and Marques, during the tests Estoril (Portugal), a week ago, Jos Verstappen was still 2.5 seconds faster than Muller and 2 seconds faster than Marques.
