Villeneuve topped the times of todays tests at the Barcelona (Spain) circuit. He set a fastest time of 1:21.79. The Williams team is trying to improve the clutch, because both their drivers, Hill and Villeneuve, are complaining about their difficult starts.
Schumacher was second with 1:22.50, The Ferrari team is trying to find out why the cars are so unreliable and they are also working with the new 7-speed gearbox.
